Could you be the person to make a difference at Manorside?

Do you want to have a bigger say in what goes on at Manorside? Passionate about making our school events run more brilliantly and raise more money to make Manorside an even better place for our children to learn and thrive?

Then Friends of Manorside want to hear from you!

We are looking for a Friends of Manorside Co-Ordinator – someone to be a key part of our newly-formed parent committee.

So, what does the FOM Co-Ordinator do?

As Co-Ordinator, you would be in charge of chairing the FOM meetings, and reporting back on what needs to be done. You would be the ‘face’ of Friends of Manorside to the wider school community, and liaise with the class reps and event committees to ensure the smooth running of our events programme.

What events are those?

Friends of Manorside run the various fundraising events that take place throughout the school year – everything from the Autumn Disco, through to the Movie Night and International Food Fair.

Last year these events raised an incredible £7194 for the school – all of which went towards subsidising school trips and buying equipment for our childrens’ classes.

And who are Friends of Manorside?

We’re the parent group who plan and run these events. We’re a friendly and welcoming bunch (promise).

What do I do if I’m interested?

Please write a short application including your name, contact details, a bit about yourself and why you’d like to take on this role. Submit it to the office for the Friends of Manorside by 5th December.
