Friends of Manorside

Spring / Summer plans

I hope you had a good half-term and managed to enjoy some sunshine!

One of things I’ve really missed over this year is our wonderful community. It’s not simply about raising money for our school and special causes, it’s about how we all come together to create special events for the children and our families.  However, it’s been so uplifting to see how we have come together in supporting the Finchley Foodbank over this year, helping those struggling during the pandemic.

It is looking unlikely that we’ll be able to hold any in-person events for the rest of this academic year, and therefore we need to plan some fundraising events! We had some great ideas coming out of the previous FoM meeting including a sporting challenge; creating a Manorside recipe book and an online quiz for parents, grandparents and carers. I know that we all have Zoom fatigue so I am including a google form so that you can tell us how you can help. You can find it here: https://forms.gle/BiUvMj42t1ay97158 and it will also be sent out via the WhatsApp groups.  Please do volunteer if you can, we need every member of our small community to help get us back together.

Thank you so much for your continued support – you’re all amazing and I can’t wait till we’re all back together.  If you’d like to get in touch with about any FoM activities, please email friendsofmanorside@gmail.com or send a message via your class rep / the school office.

Thank you again for your support,

Rachel
